Net Price Calculator

  • The calculator provides an estimated cost of attending the BMA Seminary for one academic year (two semesters; 24 credit hours) based on Fall 2010-Spring 2011 data. It is provided for 'first time, full time' students who have not earned a degree before coming to the Seminary. A 'full time' load is 12 or more credit hours per semester. Each class counts as three credit hours. Tuition is charged at $120 per credit hour. A student attempting 15 hours (five classes) would pay an additional $360 for the semester. 'Books' are estimated to cost $200 per semester. Mandatory semester fees ($50) are charged to each student each semester. Additional fees (correspondence fees, computer lab fees, Arkansas extension site, etc.) are not included in these calculations. These optional fees are related to specific classes or activities and are only charged to students enrolled in those classes or activities. The calculator does not include information about scholarship assistance or federally funded scholarship and loans at this time.

Tuition rates are considered 'in district' - we do not have in-state or out-of-state rates. Churches of the Baptist Missionary Association of America provide approximately 80% of the Seminary's financial needs allowing us to maintain an affordable tuition and fees schedule.

The catalog contains more detailed data about tuition and fees and it is the official source of information about our charges.
