Refueling in Flight

Ronnie Johnson, Professor of Christian Education, and Bertram Cooper, Development Director, recently had the opportunity to take a fly fishing trip to Colorado with Refueling in Flight Ministries. This trip not only included plenty of fishing, but also times of Bible study and spiritual reflection with other Christian leaders. Bertram Cooper said, "The trip was fantastic! It was great to get away for a few days and get 'refueled' for the daily task of ministry."

Refueling in Flight Ministries is based in Tyler, Texas and provides short-term, culturally relevant, biblical instruction for the busy lifestyle of the 21st century. Their ministry includes one-minute radio messages, father/daughter conferences, foreign mission trips, and recreational ministry trips. They take their name from the in-flight refueling the military often uses when flying critical and lengthy missions. Replenishing a plane's fuel is often essential to successfully completing the mission. Refueling in Flight does the same for Christians as they go through their daily lives, seeking to fulfill their mission of impacting the world for Christ.
