SEMINARY HAS REORGANIZED
ALUMNI
ASSOCIATION
The BMA
Seminary is excited to announce that the BMA
Seminary Alumni Association, which has most recently been named
“S.T.A.F.F,” has been reorganized. This action took
place last April 22.
Dr. Ann Snyder
(M.A.R. ’04) and member of the BMA Seminary Board of
Visitors led in
the association’s reorganization.
According to
the bylaws, the purpose of this alumni association
is to
promote a
unified fellowship among the Alumni family, to foster the interests and
advancement of the
Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary toward the
achievement of training men
and women for Christian ministry vocations to the glory of God.
The purpose
will be fulfilled by such things as prayer, financial support,
assistance in recruiting,
communication to the public and assisting the seminary’s
achievement of planned goals and
objectives.
A
“kick-off” for the association was featured at
the seminary’s annual fellowship held in
conjunction with the national meeting of the Baptist Missionary
Association of America. This
year’s fellowship was held April 22, 2008 in Waco, Texas.
