BMA Seminary offers two undergraduate degrees at the Texas campus:
Bachelor of Arts in Religion
The BAR is a two-year degree that builds on the foundation of an Associate of Arts degree or its equivalent. It supplements and strengthens the broad liberal arts foundation received in associate studies by exploring and understanding the biblical text, theological ideas, church leadership, and Christian discipleship. The BAR allows students the freedom to specialize in different fields of study that may be particularly useful or interesting. The BAR is a solid foundation for ministry in various contexts, particularly leadership in a local congregation. Courses for the BAR are available on the main campus and online.
Associate of Divinity
The ADiv is a two-year degree designed for students who never had an opportunity to attend college, but now need better preparation to fulfill God’s calling on their life. It allows students to increase their biblical and theological knowledge and learn ministry skills without going through all the general education requirements of a typical associate or bachelor degree. The ADiv lays a foundation for effective ministry in a church. Courses for the ADiv are available on the main campus and online.
